The Government of Rwanda has embarked an ambitious media sector reform process. Rwanda acknowledges the significance of independent, professional media as part of the democratization process and as a driver for economic development. Rwanda has developed a “series of reforms aimed at building a vibrant, responsible and modern media industry. This category includes also all events that are covered in the perspective of informing people via information institutions on the national and/or international scale.
